Jammu . Philanthropic Organization Global Peace Foundation has urged upon government of India and Prime Minister of India, particularly to take all necessary measures which would ease the escalating tension between the two countries.
In a press statement, the executive council of the foundation has urged both India and Pakistan to exercise maximum restraint and give peace a chance in the region.
It is pertinent to mention here that the strife has increased between the two nations after the deadly Pulwama Attack in which more than fourty CRPF personals were martyred. Since then the tussle between two arch rivals has increased many folds. The situation in the region took a ugly turn when India avenged the attack by making surprising surgical strikes in the wee hours yesterday claiming more than hundreds lives of jaish militants across the border in Balakote sector.
Both the nations have reached the zenith of war with Pakistan claiming to avenge the attack. In the backdrop of these developments, varuous political, social and international organizations have requested both the nations to minimise the conflict which would eventually cost the life of common man of both the countries and might spread in the whole region.
The executive committee of Global Peace Foundation beseeched both the countries to sit on a common table and find ways and measures to end both the conflict and terrorism from the region which they are capable off. They further requested government of India to take all necessary measures to ameliorate the sufferings of the border villages which are worst victims at the times of border skirmishes.The meeting concluded with a homage to the martyrs of Pulwama Attack and resolve to work for ever lasting peace in the world by all peaceful means.
