35000 souls living on mercy of Almighty
BUNJWAH . As many as Bunjwah remote region of kishtwar district having shortage of essential commodities and basic health care facilities , having population near about 35000 . The Dunadi Bunjwah road remained closed for 10th consecutive day causing great inconvenience to general public of Bunjwah and particularly local transporters and businessmen suffers worse due to clouser of road from last 10 days .
Haroon Wani, A local resident of Bunjwah alleged that concerned authorities failed in restoration of Dunadi Bunjwah road from last two weeks causing inconvenience among public who have to cover long distance by foot. He added that due to clouser of road , we have to face starve as we are not having essential commodities and other items . Due the the closure of road the people’s residing in areas of Bunjwah tehsil are facing various problems due to shortage of essential commodities including ration , kerosene oil, Lpg gas, medical facilities etc.
Despite tall claim made by politicians and administration in providing hassle free supply of essential commodities and health care system and better roads on doorstep , Unfortunately nothing came to be seen on ground as all works and projects remains in office files , public meetings and other awareness functions .
Haroon Wani further added that the only one road link connecting Bunjwah with district and rest other regions of chenab valley and state remain closed on 10th consective day at Nagni , Pashalla , Glody , Kewa , Binoon , Jawalapur and other at other locations. .
It is pertinent to mention here that concerned department PMGSY and contractors have failed in removing landslides as they are not taking knee interest in opening of road . Public of Bunjwah had demanded personal intervention of Governor Satya Pal Malik in this matter and directing district administration Kishtwar and concerned department in removing landslides at an earliest so as public shall take sigh of relief.
